Erik is the trainer and owner of Bootlegger K-9 Training & Rehab, working with families and their dogs in Floyd County and the surrounding Blue Ridge. He trains every dog himself — no assistants, no farmed-out kennels.

Erik is now expanding into psychiatric service dog training to help handlers managing anxiety, PTSD, and related conditions. That specialty is built on the same foundation: calm dogs, clear handlers, and patient repetition.
